Step 1: You contact me

Please complete and submit the e-form below, if you would like to explore my offer of a safe, confidential, therapeutic relationship.

I will respond to your message within 24-hrs. We will decide a mutually convenient day and time for a brief initial consultation (online or phone).

Step 2: Initial free consultation

I will offer you an initial free consultation. You may ask any questions in our free 15-minute online or phone conversation so you can decide whether you would like us to work together.

I will listen to and respond to your questions, try to understand your issues and goals, and explain my ways of working.

​

If we agree that it is a good fit, I will invite you to sign a counselling agreement and we can schedule our sessions.

Step 3: Our counselling sessions

Depending on our agreed modality, I will either send you the location details for in-person sessions, or joining details, for online sessions.

 

Each session will be of 50-min duration. Our journey will continue at a pace that feels right to you. For an effective counselling process, it is important to meet weekly, or at least bi-weekly.

 

Using a person-centred approach, I will aim to provide a safe environment of openness and trust in our sessions. We will explore your issues, connect with and harness your inner resources for healing and growth.

Step 4: Fees and payments

My fee for each session is £50. You can pay either by cash during the session, or through bank transfer within 3 days of your counselling session. 

 

I have a small number of concessions available for students, including counselling trainees.

In case you are wondering about the finer details:

• Cancellation: If you give me a minimum of 48-hrs notice that you need to cancel your appointment, no payment is due.

• Rescheduling: If you give me a minimum of 48-hrs notice that you need to reschedule your appointment, we will try to find an alternative day/time to meet.

• Missed appointments: Missed appointments, or no shows, without 48-hrs notice will be charged the full counselling fee of £50.
